The Potting Madman and Planning the Future

As was planned, I spent most of yesterday mixing potions, majority BRs but some minor mixing for my Pot Shop as well.

You advanced to level 98 of potion!




Hit some various shrooms for harv points while mixing as well. Both because I need to restock my shrooms should a Day of Schools come again, and I've been missing out on a lot of harv points of late. I don't worry about grabbing harv points like I used to now, but I do still want to get up to harv 100 so I can more easily get my own dung. Still got a lot of saltpetre needed in my future.



The Future

Getting into the top 50 "AllAround" list (which I moved up to #46 today on) got me to thinking more about my semi-ignored skills. Which is why I recently got the summoning and tailoring levels.

I want to ensure I spend more time on those. At the same time, buying nexus has become a high priority, and that's primarily harvesting and alchemy for the bars. Surprisingly little experience for manufacturing in comparison despite making 500+ S2Es per nexus.

Between that, aiming for the big "potion 100" level, and spending more time than I used to getting a/d levels (I've intentionally avoided that the past several days), it leaves little time for the other skills.

So I've attempted to work out a semi-schedule that would "force in" taking time off from the potting/nexus projects to work on those other skills.

It's a game, I wanna do what I want, so it's a very flexible schedule. Which means if I get in the mood to do something not scheduled, I will, hehe. Its goal is mostly to remind me to work on the other skills.

It also included splitting the nexus project into 4 parts instead of two. Basically that means making 1/4 of the S2Es needed for 50 hydro bars at a time. Doing other stuff in between. Makes the whole nexus project feel less like a chore with less to make at once.

Among the things to do in between is get a level in one of my more ignored skills.

It might work. I dunno. Seems okay so far, since that tailoring level two days ago was part of the plan.


Meanwhile, I'm back to work on my next nexus, making 1/4 of the S2Es needed. Currently up to harving coal for the bars in Palon Vertas, having harved the necessary FE ings and even mixing about 2k of those yesterday. Really does feel like a more accomplishable goal doing it in such smaller amounts at a time, heh. Could very possibly have the S2Es done today.


After that... plans call for getting another crafting level and another tailoring level (wanna get "all skills 30+"). Some potioning and a/d will be in there as well before I finish off the last 1/4 S2Es for the next nexus.




Oh, and bought 4 summoning stone books to read. Still a ways to go before I can start making them, just planning ahead.
